Workplace / Group Coaching

I help individuals, teams and peer groups have the conversations that matter—building trust, tackling challenges and moving forward together. My approach is simple, practical, and down-to-earth, whether I’m offering my one-to-one ‘Open Door’ service, facilitating full workplace coaching sessions, or delivering optional bitesize themed sessions to spark fresh thinking and keep momentum going.

Coaching in the workplace has immediate and impactful results – just look at some of my feedback:

“Coaching changed our culture”

“People felt valued and heard”

“….changed their perspectives and gave people options to how they might better support themselves”

“The session helped me to understand better what is within my control”

“What a great way to support staff wellbeing”

In the UK, an  average of 18 million workdays are lost each year due to mental health conditions.  Effective, workplace interventions can significantly and positively impact on this statistic.  Life coaching is not therapy, but effective coaching can produce rapid results and/or support an individual to access therapeutic services if  required.

I have a proven track-record in workplace coaching as well as decades of experience of understanding mental health challenges at work.  I can be a valuable addition to your wellbeing initiatives and offer your workplace a confidential, non-judgemental space in which to work through their individual or team issues.

Where is Coaching in the Workplace beneficial?

  • Supporting with career changes
  • Tools and stratetegies for managing workplace relationships
  • Managing stress and anxiety
  • Supporting with sleep issues which may be affecting work (I am a trained sleep practitioner)
  • Providing perspective, building solutions based thinking and improving overall wellbeing in the workplace.

Coaching is about developing self-awareness, accoutability and responsibility. It is a supportive, progressive process that aims to build self-agency, confidence and self-belief.

"From the moment I met Gillian, I knew she could help me. She asks perfect questions to make you really consider what you are letting block you. She is like a bolt of positivity, but with an undercurrent of honesty and she is a mine of information. I would 100% recommend working with Gillian if you’re at a career crossroads, or in fact like I was, completely stifled by my views on what I could (can) do and what could be (is!!!) possible. " L.P. – “Fulfilment through work”
"I would certainly recommend Gillian’s coaching. I personally broke through self-sabotaging thoughts in my career after 3 coaching sessions and working on specific activities set by Gillian between each session. It made a significant difference. Thank you." M.A. – “Self-Sabotaging”
"There are some people that just have this natural ability to make a difference in peoples lives and Gillian is one of them. She is extremely easy to talk to and has the ability to empower you to make the right decisions for yourself. I have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions I have had and feel that I can make choices and decisions that are positive for my future." K.G. – Uncovers her mission!
"My very first coaching session with Gillian was far more helpful than other methods of support I have received previously as within the first 30 minutes of my session, Gillian had already identified why I was feeling the way I was. This had been a mystery in sessions for support with others but Gillian understood and ‘got me’ so she was able to offer suggestions of what to do next. She highlighted my strengths, skills and areas to develop in different areas of my life that I hadn’t even thought about. " C.B. – “Gillian ‘Got me'”
